Rentrée télé américaine: de gros noms au petit écran
La télévision n’est plus le parent pauvre du cinéma. Steven Spielberg et Robert De Niro comptent parmi les producteurs exécutifs de certaines séries. Les «It Girls» Ginnifer Goodwin et Zooey Deschanel seront même en vedette dans de nouvelles émissions. La saison 2011-2012 s’annonce riche en stars et en nouveautés.
ABC
«Revenge» sera présentée en grande première à ABC le mercredi 21 septembre à 22h. Lorsque Emily Thorne (Emily Van Camp) ira vivre dans les Hamptons, plusieurs résidents se demanderont ce que fait une fille toute seule dans ce coin riche. Emily n’est cependant pas étrangère à ce milieu. Elle y habitait avec sa famille lorsque certains événements ont mené celle-ci à la ruine. L’héroïne cherchera donc à venger ses proches. Madeleine Stowe fait notamment partie de la distribution.
La nouvelle mouture de «Charlie’s Angels» sera diffusée à ABC à compter du jeudi 22 septembre à 20h. Annie Ilonzeh y campera Kate. Minka Kelly sera Eve tandis que Rachael Taylor incarnera Abby. Ramon Rodriguez prêtera quant à lui ses traits à Bosley. Une voleuse, une adepte des courses de rues et une ancienne policière déchue oeuvrent au sein de l’agence de détectives du mystérieux Charlie Townsend. On y sera témoin de leurs aventures. Cette série, dont l’action se déroule à Miami, est inspirée de la populaire émission des années 70.
La Québécoise Karine Vanasse (photo) et Christina Ricci font partie des vedettes de «Pan Am», série qui fera son apparition au petit écran le dimanche 25 septembre à 22h. L’action se déroulera dans les années 60, dans le monde (alors très) glamour de l’aviation, des pilotes et des hôtesses de l’air. Ricci incarnera une jeune femme bohème, Maggie, qui devient l’incarnation même du professionnalisme dans le but de parcourir le monde grâce à son travail. Vanasse personnifiera Colette, une agente de bord très flirt!
